Step 1: Talk to Zane at Moxxi's Bar
Head to Moxxi's Bottoms Up Bar and make your way into the back room. You'll find Zane tinkering with one of his old drones - half nostalgia, half midlife crisis. When you speak to him, he explains that he wants to craft a custom farewell gift for Levaine, something that symbolizes their complicated friendship (and occasional flirting).
To start, he needs drone parts from one of his old companions - parts that hold sentimental value. He marks their location on your map, and naturally, it's deep in Ripper territory. Time to gear up.
Step 2: Find Zane's Broken Drone
Check your map for the waypoint - the parts are located in a Ripper fortress west of the Society for Amateur Seismologists. Expect heavy resistance once you get there. The Rippers don't exactly enjoy uninvited guests, and you'll face two to three waves of enemies before you can safely explore. Having enough cheap Borderlands 4 Money will be of great help to you.
Once the area's cleared, start searching for the missing drone pieces. There are three possible locations scattered around the encampment, each hidden in what looks like eridium-corrupted remains.

As you might guess, the final drone part is at the top of the tall central tower. Use the stairwells and grapple points that spiral around the tower to climb up. At the summit, you'll find one last eridium corpse. Smash it open - and finally, you'll recover the missing drone part Zane was after.
Pro Tip: Before leaving, open the Electi safe nearby for some extra loot and Eridium.
Step 3: Return the Drone Part to Zane
With the part in hand, fast travel back to Moxxi's Bottoms Up Bar. Speak with Zane in the back room again and hand him the recovered drone piece. He'll thank you in his usual dry tone, then ask one more favor: contact Levaine to arrange a meet-up so he can deliver the gift personally.
You make the call, but Levaine quickly figures out what's happening. She sounds amused - and maybe a little touched - before asking you to scout and clear the rendezvous point up north.
Step 4: Clear Out Hull's Handbasket
Your next stop is Hull's Handbasket, a romantic (and very dangerous) outpost far north of buy Borderlands 4 Boosting the Fadefields. Unfortunately, there's no nearby fast travel station, so hop into a vehicle and start the long drive.
