In EA FC (formerly FIFA), Icons are special player cards that represent some of FC 26 Coins the greatest players in football history. These players are now retired but highly rated and are often the cornerstones of high-level Ultimate Team squads. Icons are considered premium assets and are highly sought after by players due to their unique chemistry and ability to fit into almost any team.
In previous versions, Icons have included legendary stars such as Pele, Zinedine Zidane, Diego Maradona, Johan Cruyff, etc. Each Icon usually has three versions: Base, Mid and Prime, representing different stages of the player's career.
According to a source close to the EA development team, buy FC 26 Coins will launch 12 new Icons to further enrich its rich lineup of legendary players. These Icons will appear in Ultimate Team, and players can collect, trade Icons, and compete with them in leagues, weekend tournaments and team battles.
